TRG’s advocacy is focused on issues impacting the Tamils of Lanka and allying with other vulnerable communities in Sri Lanka. We will soon leverage our extensive networks in the traditional Tamil homelands to continue our sharpened focus on advocating for Tamil rights through international law mechanisms, expanded global diplomacy, and strengthening domestic civil liberties.
TRG functions as a space for active collaboration between different generations, bringing together victims, activists, experts from Sri Lanka, diaspora Tamil communities, and the international community to carry forward with their narrative of holistic transitional justice process in Sri Lanka, and to ensure the protection of human rights and freedoms of the Tamil people, other constituent peoples, minorities, and targeted groups in Sri Lanka.
